This trauma-informed soothing yoga class promotes mindfulness through grounding movements. It combines the age-old teachings of the 8 Limbs of Yoga with the Polyvagal Theory’s neuroscience to rejuvenate the nervous system. By adopting a bottom-up method, it enhances body stability, safety, and fosters a deeper connection between body and mind. The class begins with a centering exercise, transitions into a yoga flow, and concludes with Yoga Nidra. It’s ideal for those facing stress, anxiety, burnout, or trauma, or anyone seeking mental and physical regulation and tranquility.
